The “Centre for IT Solutions” is established with the vision for uplifting the computerization of various processes by providing IT related services like Software Development, Consultancy Services and Website Designing & Management etc. to enhance the efficiency and transparency in the University. The Centre is providing these services to various departments of University as well as outside of University. The Centre has three computer laboratories equipped with desirable configuration of hardware and software. The staff of Centre is primarily involved in Software Development and Maintenance to cater the IT related requirements of the University. The staff is also engaged in teaching the students of various departments of the University.
The Centre has taken an initiative to start Full Time/Part Time Job Oriented Courses from the current session 2019-20 with the support of Department of Computer Science. The two full time courses “Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) and Diploma Course in Computer Applications (DCA)” shall run in the Centre to spread education in the border area belt and equip the students to compete for Government/Private jobs. The 3-months Certificate Courses like Fundamentals of Information Technology & MS-Office, Programming in C/C++, Programming through Java (Core), Programming through PYTHON and Web Technologies using .NetFramework (ASP.Net with SQL*Server) shall also be started as part time courses in the Centre from current session.
