Dean Colleges Message

It is a matter of immense pleasure to write that Guru Nanak Dev University has carved a perfect niche for itself on the academic map of India and is a true Mecca for students from rural, urban and border areas. With immaculate academic ambience, state of art infrastructure, futuristic facilities and pronounced emphasis on quality education, the university has scaled new heights in academics, sports and cultural activities in a short-span of time. The university has always shown its resilience and ability to adapt and convert a challenging situation to an opportunity. A crystal clear and transparent admission process attracts meritorious students to this university. A regular upgradation of the syllabi is the hallmark giving a sense of pride and satisfaction. Given the exponential growth of Indian higher education system, the college development council is now turned to be vital force that frame collegiate education policies aiming at inclusive quality education, in tune with national education policy.

The mission of the Council (CDC) at university level is to facilitate effective implementation of development plans of university for quality improvement of colleges and other affiliated institutions and acts as effective interface between the UGC and the colleges under it. The university is fortunate to have an eminent scientist Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu as its Vice-Chancellor who has brought innovations to elevate the academic and research standards to the highest peaks in the educational scenario.
